Last month, The New York Times featured an interesting article on the continued difficulty for pet owners to fly with their pets as many airlines now forbid brachycephalic breeds. As a result of this article that provided a brief mention of our services, hundreds of inquiries from all over the world have arrived for information. It is clear that that an alternative is needed in the pet air travel business. While understanding we can’t help everyone since the cost of private air charter is so very expensive, we are doing our very best to help assist pet owners with our Pet Jets Travel Club program. This program assists pet owners to find other members who are interested in sharing the cost of a charter with an FAA approved private air carrier. Pet Jets has effective today eliminated its annual membership fee and new members may sign-up via our website to be informed by email each week of our updated trip member requests. Members may also view available trips via Twitter: @PetJets posted each week. Members who want to post a trip share-a-flight request simply pay $19.95 for a trip posting on our share-a-flight page. Pet Jets monitors the requests, markets the requests and then assists members who want to charter together with finding the right aircraft for their trip.
